| Brenna Goodwin-McCabe | | Brenna Goodwin-McCabe is a versatile writer and director with a keen interest in media adaptation. She graduated with a Masters of English in 2020 from the University of British Columbia, where she also worked as a teacher’s aide. Her writing on science fiction, fantasy, and horror cinema has been presented at McGill, Dalhousie, and the University of British Columbia, along with her weekly film blog (youremindmeoftheframe.ca). Brenna established Hearth Pictures in 2020 with her first horror short, “Half Full” (2021), followed by “The Still” (2022). “Half Full” won honourable mention at the 2022 Vancouver Badass Film Festival, and “The Still” premiered at the Toronto Indie Horror Festival in 2022. |
