Kevin Cheng

  • Director

Hong Kong-Canadian filmmaker Kevin Cheng is passionate about telling diverse stories. With a film degree from Hong Kong Baptist University and a diploma from Vancouver Film School, Kevin has amassed many credits, from director of the dramatic "Fugue in C” (2020) to cinematographer of the award winning and viral short film "En Dehors de Toi" (2022). Inspired by the greats in both Asian and western cinema, Kevin looks forward to making his Canadian directorial debut with “Astronaut”.

Stephanie Joan

Stephanie Joan is an independent film producer and writer best known for her work on the viral, award winning short film “En Dehors de Toi” (2022). Her background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree (University of Alberta) and a Film Diploma (Vancouver Film School). With extensive training in theater and dance, Stephanie has always loved creative storytelling, and now finds herself thriving in the fast-paced world of film. She is part of the Business Affairs team at Front Street Pictures, an esteemed production company located in Vancouver, BC, and continues to produce short and feature length films within Vancouver’s indie film community.

Luke Vandenberg

Luke VandenBerg is an independent film producer from Oro-Medonte, Ontario. He started his career in Tourism Marketing after attending Georgian College where he graduated from the Marketing & Advertising Communications program. Luke then moved to the West Coast to study Film Production at Vancouver Film School, specializing in directing and cinematography. Luke now works as a technical advisor for the Telus STORYHIVE: On Location program and as an assistant production coordinator at Front Street Pictures. He’s established himself in Vancouver’s indie film community, working in all departments and lending a helping hand wherever he can.

Bobby Tiet

Bobby Tiet is an advertising professional, big data expert, and independent film producer from Victoria, BC. As a producer, he’s worked on projects that have played internationally at festivals, including LA International Horror Film Festival, and Canada Shorts Film Festival. With a background in advertising and sales, Bobby is passionate about consumer data attribution and storytelling.

Bobby is an Enterprise Account Director at StackAdapt, and co-founded Westdowne Productions in Toronto, ON.

Campbell Hunter

Cambell Hunter is an independent film producer and photographer with a strikingly diverse background in creative project management, business strategy and financial markets.

Campbell’s reputation for incisive commentary and discerning perspectives have provided opportunities internationally; advising on several notable projects around the globe. At heart, he is a curious and passionate storyteller.

Campbell is an Advisor at one of Canada’s leading investment firms, and co-founded Westdowne Productions in Toronto, Canada circa 2018. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria.

Charlie Gudgeon

Charlie Gudgeon is a Canadian Producer and Director located in Vancouver, BC. He graduated with honours from Vancouver Film School’s Production Stream. Recently, Charlie has worked on Production for the DGC funded Obscura (2023), and produced The Dog (2023) which premiered at the Victoria Film Festival. As a director, his films have garnered acclaim at festivals internationally. Charlie focuses on stories that blur the lines of truth and fantasy.

Charlie works as a Coordinator at Atomic Cartoons, an Animation Production studio located in Vancouver and Los Angeles, and co-founded Westdowne Productions in Toronto, ON.

Tavish Gudgeon

Tavish Gudgeon is a Canadian producer and writer located in Los Angeles. He has an MFA in Screenwriting (University of Southern California), and his scripts have placed in multiple competitions, including as finalist in Austin Film Festival, and Top 5% in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. He has worked in the Development department for Muse Entertainment, and as a Script Analyst for Coverfly.

Currently, Tavish works as a Coordinator at Annapurna Pictures, a boutique film studio in Los Angeles, and co-founded Westdowne Productions in Toronto, ON.
