Mara is a Motion Picture Arts Certificate graduate of Capilano University where she upgraded her film background. Before she earned her certificate, Mara obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film back in the Philippines where she successfully produced and directed her first 15-minute short film. She recently got an internship with Disney for a TV Movie where she first gained her experience working in a professional film set. Now, she is working as a locations PA in various TV shows filming here in Vancouver.
