| Kevin Ang | | Kevin Ang is a Filipino-Chinese-Canadian animator and filmmaker. He was born in Manila, Philippines before moving to Vancouver to study 3D Animation and VFX. He has worked in multiple tv, blockbuster films and video games as an animator. In 2014, he won Best Director and Best Screenplay at Cinemalaya, Philippine's most prestigious independent film festival. His other shorts have gone on to win MAAM Best Picture as well as compete in international festivals such as Palm Springs International Shortsfest and Chicago International Film Festival. |
| Moheb Jindran | | Moheb is an Indian-Filipino Actor/Producer. Having been born and raised in Dubai, Moheb’s exposure to an array of cultures drives his pursuit of diversity in film. Some of his notable producing credits include the Crazy8’s film “Cuello'' & MAMM Best Film Award Winner “Switch City”. Moheb played the lead in the Crazy8’s film “Imran & Alykhan'' and appears as a recurring character on the upcoming Netflix series “My Life with The Walter Boys”. |
| Allen Xu | | Growing up in both China and Canada, Allen experienced globalization at a very young age. After being exposed to film in high school, Allen knew that's what he wanted to do. Now, he works as a media producer and director, with his content exploring the themes of racial diversity and multiculturalism. In the last few years, Allen has opened his own film production company and has found himself producing a wide range of content from shorts to music videos to educational videos. He looks forward to furthering his career as a producer and hopes to soon produce his first feature film in an effort to bridge this gap in this ever-growing borderless world. |
| Carlo Fortin | | Carlo is an emerging Filipino-Canadian filmmaker in Vancouver, BC. Starting his acting career in 2017, he has since been recurring on "Fire Country (CBS)", and has made appearances on "Riverdale," "The Flash" and "The Good Doctor," to name a few. When not acting, he stays busy taking on the roles of Producer, Director and Editor. Being a self-taught filmmaker, his goal is to continue making a splash in the independent world both in front and behind the lens, telling fun but also impactful stories that might also highlight his Filipino and Asian heritage. His recent successes include directing and producing the short films: "The 3 B's (2023)" and “Almost (2022),” both SNG Film Festival finalists, earning a top 18 spot out of 100+ films. "Almost" has since become a Vancouver Asian Film Festival select, a DisOrient Film Festival select, and has earned him a Best Director Award in the AltFF Film Festival. |
| Aiden Marsden | | Aiden Marsden, an Edmonton-born Writer & Producer, embarked on his creative journey in Vancouver in 2017, driven by his passion for film. As one half of the dynamic filmmaking duo: Umbrella Realm, Aiden has showcased his talent through various projects; notably, as the Producer of the short film "Perfect" which was selected for Edmonton International Film Festival in 2022, as well as the Co-Writer of "Switch City" winner of the MAMM Best Film Award. |
| Frances Leigh | | Frances Leigh is a second generation Filipino-Chinese immigrant born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Although her background is in journalism, working for Entertainment Tonight Canada and CityNews Vancouver (then, New1130), she jumped ship and studied acting in 2017 and has since appeared in such shows as The Flash, Devil in Ohio, and A Very Merry Bridesmaid where she starred alongside Emily Osment (Hannah Montana, Spy Kids 2) -- just to name a few. Currently, Frances is working on her own projects including a proof of concept for a series and writing, producing and directing features and shorts while collaborating with other film professionals. |
