| Gabriel Souza Nunes | | Gabriel Souza Nunes is an award winning Brazilian Writer & Director based in Vancouver, BC. He graduated with honours from Vancouver Film School (2019), having his directorial debut with the short film “The Party” at the Whistler Film Festival 2019. Gabriel believes in the power of mixing technology, emotions, and memories as a meaningful form of human expression, navigating through sci-fi, horror, drama, and improv, always adding a surrealistic twist to his work. He is a strong advocate for representation in front and behind the camera, especially for the Latinx and LGBTQAI+ communities. His most recent short film “I Remember Everything” won Best Latin-Canadian Short Film at the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival 2022. |
| Carolyn Woolner | | Carolyn Woolner (she/her) is a screenwriter living in Vancouver BC. After graduating from Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television program, she’s had the pleasure of writing and producing a pilot for Telus StoryHive called Amara, which aired on Telus Optik TV this year, as well as writing a BET original movie currently airing on BET plus called Game of Deceit. She got her start writing and performing sketch comedy and stand-up and has been in a long-standing love affair with comedy ever since. She’s always looking for ways to make her projects more inclusive and highlight underrepresented groups and is so excited to have the opportunity to work with the incredible team behind Passiflora. |
| Aries Ceta | | Aries Ceta (she/her) is a filmmaker with a strong passion for the film industry. She has a diverse background, having been born in Albania and raised in Italy, and having studied and worked in both London and Vancouver. During her studies at Vancouver Film School, she honed her skills in producing and assistant directing, and has since worked on several short films, commercials and features. Her goal is to use her skills and experience to bring real drama stories to the screen, leaving a lasting impact on audiences. |
| Elaine Yan | | Elaine Yan (she/her) was born in China and currently resides in Vancouver, BC. She is an alumnus of Vancouver Film School and University of British Columbia having studied Film Production and Theatre Production & Design. As a filmmaker, Elaine has been the producer/line producer/location manager of multiple short films. |
